Darren Harriott is one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit, having recently appeared on Live at the Apollo, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, BBC Radio 4’s Best of the Fest and 5Live's Fighting Talk. He also features in a series for Comedy Central Online, and has his own BBC Three short coming soon. Debut Edinburgh show Defiant was a smash hit last year and this year Darren went from a run at The Soho Theatre to appearing on a televised gala in Melbourne.

Matt is one of the country’s most in-demand satirists, having appeared on The Royal Variety Performance 2015, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, Question Time, This Week and Jon Richardson Grows Up. Following a total sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival’s prestigious Cabaret Bar and a nationwide tour of Matt’s show, It’s My Political Party (and I’ll Cry if I Want To), 2016 saw the launch of Unspun with Matt Forde, Matt’s political comedy show for Dave.

Athena Kugblenu - 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Athena is a 2017 nominee for the 99 Club Female Comedians’ Bursary. She writes for BBC Radio 4 (News Quiz), regularly records stand up for BBC radio and in 2017 performed at the Johannesburg international Comedy Festival. Her unscripted wit hasn’t gone unnoticed; in 2016 she featured in a BBC3 Future Films production and was invited by internet super producers Astronauts Wanted to guest in their series Girl on Girl. Carl Donnelly - 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Performing since 2005 Carl’s conversational, silly sense of humour has seen him win various awards become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and festivals around the world. In 2009, Carl was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer and was nominated for the Fosters Comedy Award in 2013, Carl has since returned with six further solo shows. Carl has also appeared on Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Self-described beta-male Ross Smith has already made his mark on the London comedy scene through featuring in several high profile competitions, becoming a regular face at some of the capital’s biggestcomedy clubs and hosting the renowned Comedy Virgins at the Cavendish Arms. Smith’s razor wit, matched with a warmth, sincerity and likeability make him a joy to behold. Having already shared the stage with luminaries such as Daniel Kitson, Nish Kumar, Tim Key, Katherine Ryan, it’s clear that Smith is on the brink of great things.
